ABIRA is the first  and only national association for independent retail adult beverage stores in the country.

The neighborhood package store is under attack by the big box competitors and the market is fragmented.  ABIRA unites the neighborhood stores to save money, improve operations, and increase advertising presence.

With a store locator facility and members-only chat room and bulletin board, ABIRA is a central source of information and idea sharing.  We have also partnered with the Independent Wine Organization as a show of support towards the family winery.
